The Florida Women's Business Center (FWBC) is an entrepreneur resource center dedicated to assisting women in achieving their dreams by helping them start, grow and run successful businesses. The FWBC's primary focus is to provide training, counseling, mentoring, resources, referrals, and support to women entrepreneurs. The FWBC is a collaborative partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration and is one of its 100 national Women's Business Centers. 
Training is provided on a variety of business topics to help women become successful business owners. The training program includes workshops and seminars that present new ideas, practical business skills, fresh perspectives and valuable information.
Our top five popular trainings are: 1-2-3's of Starting A Business; SBA & Bank Financing; Business Plan Wriiting Series; Skills To Operate A Profitable Business; and Social Media & Internet Marketing. 
The FLWBC covers 18 counties in the southern region of Florida. We have offices in Palm Beach, Broward and Lee Counties. For office locations 
The Business Women ROCK series was created for women entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals to help and support each other. Everyone can benefit from a good support system and building solid relationships takes time, as we know, people do business with people they know, like and trust. 
Experienced and professional Business Development Managers provide individual counseling sessions which are tailored to the specific needs of the woman entrepreneur. These informal sessions are provided by seasoned business owners and corporate professionals who provide guidance and practical business knowledge that will help to increase the client's chances of success.
Counseling sessions cover specific areas ranging from business feasibility and planning, operational guidance, accounting and finance, marketing, programs and tools.

Business Women ROCK peer mentoring program was created for women entrepreneurs and women professionals to help and support each other. Women have a unique ability to impart their business expertise and share lessons learned with others. Everyone can benefit from a good support system and nothing is more personally rewarding than mentoring.

What
The goal of Business Women ROCK peer mentoring program is to provide meaningful opportunities for growing your business and to facilitate ongoing learning with your peers in a focused and interesting way. Each month women come together over lunch to discuss various business topics in a roundtable type environment. Our professional facilitator runs each meeting, but the focus is on you! Bring your challenges to the table and let your peers help you work out the issues and provide you with amazing feedback.
Typical Agenda
Sign In & select lunch ~ 15 min (11:15 - 11:30)
Attendees state name & name of business ~ 20 min
Roundtable Exchange on Topic ~ 1 hour, 30 min
Information sharing including event announcements (no business advertisements) ~ 10 min

Our menu varies each time but typically includes a variety of the following:
Salad (house & caesar)
Entrée (fillet: ribeye, chicken & seasonal fish)
Sides (mashed potatoes, creamed spinach & green beans)
Dessert (cheesecake, chocolate cake, ice cream, sorbet & fruit)
Who
Business Women ROCK is geared toward women business owners, executives and professionals; however anyone is welcome to attend. Attendance is limited, so register early. Our small group size provides an effective forum for attendees to learn and make a true connection with other women. It also provides the facilitator and attendees ample time to ask questions, share their challenges and receive guidance, ideas and feedback from each other.

How Much
The cost of the lunch is $25.00 and no membership or commitment is required (price includes valet parking). Come once, come twice, or come every time. Registration is required to insure adequate seating and outstanding service. Note: The cost for registrations received the same day...online or at the door/onsite will cost $50.00, no exceptions.
Refund Policy: if a registrant contacts us 24 hours before the event to cancel they will get a full refund. If the event date has passed no refund will be extended.
