As Co-Owner and President of Zeus Consulting Services Corporation, Melanie has leveraged her extensive expertise to empower small businesses through personalized consultations and comprehensive training programs. Since 2012, she has been instrumental in delivering cohort business optimization classes aimed at equipping entrepreneurs with essential tools, systems, and access to capital necessary for scaling operations and driving growth.

Melanie's leadership at Zeus Consulting Services Corporation extends beyond business optimization. She has championed the implementation of AI systems to enhance operational efficiencies and improve business operations. Her commitment to excellence is underscored by her Six Sigma Quality Black Belt certification, which she applies rigorously to reduce waste, streamline operations, and increase revenue for her clients.

Melanie's career trajectory is further distinguished by her 25-year tenure at NextEra Energy, where she held various senior roles including: Manager of Cybersecurity Strategy, Digital Transformation Manager, Sr. Project Manager, Mergers and Integration Manager, Quality Manager and Regulatory and Compliance Leader. Her achievements include spearheading the automation of IT processes through AI and machine learning models, resulting in substantial cost savings and operational improvements. She helped develop and implement robust cybersecurity strategies. She also successfully managed multimillion-dollar projects in renewable energy development and led complex regulatory compliance initiatives.

Melanie's strategic acumen and technical prowess have earned her a reputation for driving transformative change within large-scale organizations.

Throughout her career, Melanie has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to business and community. She has received accolades such as the Small Business Person of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches and the Distinguished Black Business of the Year by the Black Chamber of Commerce Palm Beach County. Her commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion is evident through her leadership in employee resource groups and her advocacy for STEM education. She is also very involved in the community and serves as a deacon in her local church.

Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, a Master’s in Business Administration in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and currently pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence from Florida Atlantic University. Melanie is also is Six Sigma Black Belt Certified and a certified Project Management Professional.
