Viola Jackson's Story

My name is Viola. I’m a client of the Florida Women's Business Center in Delray Beach, which helped me develop my business roadmap.
From 10 years old delivering newspapers to attempting network marketing in my 30’s, I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit. As a Peace Corps volunteer, teacher, missionary, and Transformation Coach, I’ve strived to be a change agent in the world.
Despite some success, without support, encouragement, and accountability, I wandered alone through murky, confusing waters of unrealized potential. Many leaders share the same heart cry: to be a catalyst of change. However, they are often stuck working a job they hate, in the setback of a dead-end relationship, or unable to realize that big dream alone.

In 2013, I transitioned from teacher to self-supported missionary. I loved using my strengths: bi-lingual, coordinating, managing people, projects, and events. However, “flying solo” was tough. I experienced the joy and pain of success and failure in transformational ways.

In 2016, I joined Youth With A Mission. I led teams within the Caribbean and Europe. In 2019, I moved to Florida to help my sons, both entering college. However, people I’d met around the world maintained contact with me “to talk”. It became a part-time job. I couldn’t ignore the demand placed on my potential, but wanted more to give than just sharing experiences and “advice”.

People say I have a unique way of inspiring courage and strength of purpose, that they gain insight to overcome obstacles and move forward and experience a sense of peace and safety with me.
This led to enrollment in Coaching Mission International’s 2-year program to get equipped. I began coaching in January of 2019. During that time, my life purpose became clear: I will make a difference by “transforming leaders into prospering influencers”.

Business Description

Transformational Coaching for Millennial Leaders (TCML/VJILLC) was founded through my own transformation process and longing to make a difference in the world. “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.” -Mother Teresa

Through TCML, leaders “get traction … changing who they are ... to take action … to change what they do” to become catalysts of change. In compliance with International Coaching Federations’ Core Competencies, I use the coaching methodology developed by Tony Stoltzfus, to draw out solutions from clients by applying relational influence skills. Whether full of aspiration or full of pain from unfulfilled potential, transforming leaders is what TCML is about.

Clients are diverse: a nurse in Europe opening a small business, an American teacher in East Africa building a school for orphans, a singer in Spain releasing his first single, an international development worker in Guyana discovering her life purpose, a Florida business owner recovering from the pandemic … transformed leaders transform families, cities, nations … the world!

Through the 12 session Destiny Experience, clients discover who and where they are, and what they want, developing a strategic plan to get there. Clients meet weekly or bi-weekly for 1-hour sessions via Zoom or in person. Post-session follow-through includes: monthly group mentoring and participation in a “Transformation Table”. “The table is a place where everyone helps everyone improve” to bring about penetrating, long-lasting change.

Viola Jackson International, LLC was established on May 14, 2021. I’ve coached 20 clients, a total of 210 hours, 78% paid. My strategic plan includes: reaching revenue goals through marketing, prospecting, growing presence on social media, cultivating on/offline community and network for clients, a “clearinghouse” for other coaches, educating through speaking and writing that both inspires transformation and generates sales.

What is the purpose of this loan?

The loan will be used to focus on marketing, branding, promotions and client acquisition. These are vital steps to successfully launching and growing the business.
